I had Hitsumabushi and Shirayaki. I visited this place since it only opens for lunch, and I was delighted by the crispy texture of the unagi, which is a rare treat from the western region of Japan. The Shirayaki is also different from the Tokyo version since it’s not steamed. While the atmosphere is quite streamlined and lacks traditional charm, I definitely want to return to enjoy the refreshing unagi from west of Nagoya. Prezzo a persona 3000-4000 ¥

Hong Kong style restaurant. The owner was quite chatty with my husband, who knows Cantonese - the owner did pick up that he isn’t from Hong Kong but has great Cantonese. Great roast duck, my son loved the fried squid and I really enjoyed the vegetables with fried dice and black beans. I have had dace and black beans at home many times but have never thought to cook it with vegetables so I will be stealing that idea for home. Thanks for the good meal. Prezzo a persona 1000-2000 ¥
